Kymco Unveils S7 Electric Scooter

More than five years ago, the Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco has been introducing a number of electric models. The brand has only recently introduced models for the European market, and they are all electric scooters.

The new Kymco S7, the first electric scooter with specs comparable to a 125, has been unveiled and features a modern aesthetic. To begin with, the new scooter has digital instrumentation and LED headlights in the front, back, and indicator lights.

The Kymco S7 has an electric motor with an impressive 215 Nm of torque and a maximum power of 7.6 kW, giving the scooter a top speed of 92 km/h.

The new S7’s two batteries have a 1.74 kW/h capacity and a combined range of 77 km on a single charge. However, despite being made to be a bike with a city riding focus, the new scooter impresses with its storage space, with room for a helmet.

The S7 model will serve as the foundation for the new Ampelio scooter that will be produced by MV Agusta and Kymco’s partnership.
