Two marijuana dealers riding motorcycles were detained by police in Sto. Early on April 13 in Tomas City, Batangas.
At about 3:40 in the morning, Jay Austria and Arelle Brian Tolentino were apprehended. by members of the city drug enforcement unit after they sold marijuana valued at P500 was sold to a poser in Barangay (village) Poblacion 2, according to a report from Regional Police 4A.
Eight sealed plastic bags with dried marijuana leaves and seeds, valued at P6,000, were allegedly in the duo’s possession.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle being used by the suspects in their “weeds” pushing activities.
After being taken into custody, the suspects will face charges of breaking the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
