University of Kentucky Cheerleader Killed in a Motorcycle Accident

An unfortunate accident over the weekend claimed the life of a University of Kentucky cheerleader.

Cheer coach and student athlete Kaleb Allan Cantrell passed away at the age of only 25 in his native Houston, Texas.

That information was released by the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division around 4:50 a.m. on Cantrell crashed into South U.S. on May 20. and was thrown from the motorcycle on Highway 59. Authorities say they are still looking into the fatal collision.

The Academy of Gymnastics and Dance where he worked as a cheer coach in Texas, shared on Facebook that Kaleb’s “presence, energy, and love of coaching will forever be in our hearts and memories.”

On May 30 and 31, Cantrell’s life will be remembered by his family and friends in Houston.
