Authorities reported that a motorcycle accident along Route 380 in Washington Township claimed the life of a 34-year-old man from Indiana County.
According to Tim Carson, the Westmoreland County coroner, Ryan James Gould of Shelocta passed away from blunt force trauma.
Around 3:30 p.m., the accident was reported close to North Washington Road and that intersection., a county 911 supervisor said. There were no additional cars present.
According to witnesses, Gould was moving quickly and crashed into a guard rail after failing to navigate a curve in the road, Carson said.
