This afternoon, two unidentified individuals robbed a migrant of his motorcycle in the village of Harnampura.
Ajay Kumar of Harnampura was riding his motorcycle toward his village when two masked criminals stopped him and ordered him to get off the vehicle. When the former resisted, the two pulled out a dagger and threatened him with dire consequences if he didn’t give the motorcycle to them. The victim claimed that the two seized his motorcycle (UP-87-P2589) right away and took off. He called the police, who arrived on the scene and started looking for the criminals.
According to investigating officer Karnail Singh, the two criminals have had a case filed against them at the Sahnewal police station under Sections 379-B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The investigating officer claimed that the police were attempting to glean information from the nearby CCTV cameras.
