NXT Motors, the original name of SOLID EV Rides (The Netherlands), was founded in 2016. Over the past few years, they have been inspiring us with a number of concepts. Since I first stopped by their temporary workshop in Herenveen in August 2017, the company has launched a number of electric motorbike prototypes following numerous profitable fundraising efforts.
Guy Salens – THE PACK: “NXT ONE, which combined the concepts of a fully electric naked bike and a cafe racer, is still one of the nicest electric cafe racers I have ever seen. At the Motorbeurs in Utrecht in February 2019, they unveiled the NXT RAGE, a revised full carbon fiber prototype.
Since then, the SOLID team has been working on the creation of electric motorcycles under the direction of Harm Besseling, co-founder and director of technical development. The business introduced a daring and extravagant design to the market in 2021: the idea of a self-carrying frame, or so-called monocoque frame. Through internal development, partnerships, and the use of premium materials, this electric motorcycle was produced at a premium level. It was evident that SOLID had a particular target market in mind when they developed their new product.”
