Bike of the Day: 1984 Honda CBX750 Custom by X-Axis

Former British MXGP champion Billy MacKenzie designed this one-of-a-kind custom Honda CBX750 by X-Axis. In 2018, the bike underwent a complete “cafe racer” transformation from its original CBX750 configuration.

In contrast to the fuel cell, tail, and subframe, which were all redesigned, the front end is made up of a 2014 Honda CBR600RR combined with the original frame. Guy Amor carefully rebuilt the engine using newer parts and unique exhausts. The motorcycle has custom taillights, Daytona gauges, synthetic suede saddle, and original headlights that have been kept.

It has a Motogadget M-Unit control box and a 6-speed manual transmission that powers a rebuilt 747cc inline-4 engine.
